Loop Strategies, based in Washington, DC, works to support more interconnected and sustainable communities. We work with both local and national organizations that have a mission related to sustainability – whether the human side or the environmental side – and always keep an eye out for synergies between our clients. In everything we do, we seek to:
Kara Davis, a designer and sustainability consultant, owns Loop Strategies, LLC. She has over 15 years of experience working with nonprofit and social change clients in DC, previously working as a designer and information architect at PBS, and as a project manager at Viget Labs. Kara earned her Master’s in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden in 2010, before returning to DC to pursue work in community building and urban sustainability.
Chuck Becker has been a director of an Information Technology department in an educational research organization, and a consultant helping non-profits and small businesses get better use of their technology investments. His specialty is system efficiency, but he believes the most important part of his job is listening to you, so he can understand the needs and objectives of your business and find the right tools and processes to best meet them.
As a small organization, we work with other sustainability experts, facilitators, urban planners, or web experts as necessary, depending on the needs of each project. Experts may be drawn from allies over at Burness Communications, NspireGreen, Infamia, or Hub DC, where Loop Strategies is a Founding Member.
